It’s a little slow at first, but after page 80 or so it really picks up. The plot is interesting, but I feel all the plot twists and details were revealed at once and the last 100 pages, which are by far the most interesting, felt really rushed. I saw the main plot twist coming, so nothing crazy. Overall, I just don’t think this book lived up to its potential. I will say the historical context and description made it much better.
