Just not for me unfortunately. I was excited to read from a MC who is Asian and struggling to make her way in the film industry. However, while the start was more seriously examining her difficulties, it quickly devolved into shenanigans that were just too much and I don’t feel the need to finish. The whole idea of tracking down a real actor is silly if not weird, but throw in excess drinking and a clown in an alley and it’s just not my speed. But if you want a book that reads like a comedy film, try this one out!
