Just Friends at the Doggy Spa by Elsie Woods
5.0
This story is supercute and funny! It says on the cover: a sweet small town romantic comedy. This is all true. The chapters are written from Rita' s point of view and then from Joey's point of view and they swap every chapter so you really get to know the main characters and their thoughts. They both work at the doggy spa and are always messing around but never too serious. Or is that just a cover? Their friend is going to get married. Rita is the maid of honour and Joey will be the best man. She wants to speak up before the wedding, thinking she would lose her chance on true love, but can she risk their friendship? No one wants to look like a fool and is it really going somewhere or is Joey just like a little kid, never able to be serious? Rita is very good at handling puppies but Joey is quite a handful!
You will love this story. It is super cute. You get to know the characters very well, you will love them. There will be awkward situations that will make you laugh out loud. I will not spoil the end ofcourse but I will tell you this: if you love dogs, good humor and sweet romance, this is one you can't miss. I have enjoyed this story a lot.
