Girl, Stop Apologizing: A Shame-Free Plan For Embracing And Achieving Your Goals by Rachel Hollis

3.0

This book has been read by many of my friends in goodreads, and the review was quite good. That is why when timesreads send me their catalogue, I requested this backlist title.

The author, Rachel Hollis was well known as a motivational speaker in her YouTube, podcast and other talk show. If you are familiar with her talk shows, you know she is a badass woman that didn't take no as an answer. She work hard and really proud with her achievement (you really can tell when reading her book).

But what I can say about this book is that it is a “personal development book for beginner”. If you haven't done a ton of reading for personal development / self-help book, this book is a great start for you. But it you have read a lots, I can say that there is nothing new in this book for you.

For me personally, reading this book renew my spirit and motivation to pursue my ambition and dreams. Especially the chapter that discussed about excuses to let go, I can totally relate with a lot of the excuses. I love how the author emphasize that only ourselves can take action on our futures. The book was also easily to go through, and language wise it is very straight forward to understand.
