3.5. The ideas in this were so freaking cool but the characters weren't very fleshed out. I feel like we got to know a lot about one particular feeling for each character but that's the extent of what we got - one trait, one thing to consume them, and nothing else. And what consumed them was compelling but one-dimensional. And there's a lack of closure at the end that is probably pretty realistic but not at all satisfying. The spiders and the silk and the silence though? What incredible ideas, honestly.
