I've never really read a book with this concept before, its basically a character study where we never actually get the character's prespective. Instead we follow three different people with vastly different relationships with the unnamed woman and thus with three very different prespectives on her and her transformation. This is a very slow paced introspective story about what an indivdual owes to the people in their lives and soceity as a whole and whether or not the only way for a woman to be truly safe is to remove herself from society.
