Getting better at DNF’ing books. But I’m still a work in progress 😩. 

Now the Virgo in me wanted to finish this book because I have to see things through. PLUS, I really that love sci-fi, doomsday, end of the world, genre whether it’s in literature, film or television. But I’m just gonna say this ….
🚨SPOILER ALERT🚨 

The minute this man mentioned an alien spider I was out🏃🏾‍♀️. This book in major ways reminds me of Spaceman of Bohemia. Which also took a lot for me to finish because I HATE SPIDERS. While there is some major difference, like purpose and definitely the characters background and drive. The whole astronaut befriends alien spider and alien spider helps…. Yeah I didn’t need to reread that. But if that is your thing, you might enjoy this! But I would definitely recommend reading Spaceman of Bohemia first! Even through my fear it was a great book. I actually felt more connected to the main character there than reading PHM. Which may be why I felt it was easier to put down.
