All That Remains by Sue Black

4.0

Took me a little bit to get into but once I did it was very enjoyable. It was an easy read, not a lot of brain power was needed to comprehend the information being presented. I love Sue Black’s dry humour, it really gave the book what I feel is the exact tone she wanted to come across with in regards to death: reverent but unafraid. It was interesting, I tend to have a pretty crippling fear of death and her thoughts and commentary about it honestly helped soothe a lot of my anxieties and changed the way I view death and dying, so I’d honestly recommend it for people who are worried about death even if forensic anthropology isn’t your thing.
