If I can get through a 662-page volume in 2-3 weeks and work full time, it's a good indication of quality. I loved the story, though it lulled a couple times in the middle. The ending clearly sets the stage for more by leaving many unanswered questions and some clues about our characters that weren't present until the end. Thanks to Sword & Laser book club for getting me onto this.
