There is a subgenre of books I call the “I don’t think you went to boarding school” books. These are where I, who went to boarding school, does not think the author of a book set in boarding school went to boarding school. The Devil Makes Three got “I Don’t Think You Went To Boarding School”-ed within the first 5 pages.
