She's Always Hungry by Eliza Clark

4.0

Build a Body Like Mine
The ending had me laughing with the way it's sold. I also liked the 'where have you been to get a tapeworm!?' 'Um, Sheffield maybe?' bit 😂
⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Problem Solver
Urgh. F***ing men.
⭐⭐⭐

She's Always Hungry
Atmospheric and creepy.
⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Shadow Over The Chitaly
Absolutely unhinged and very funny. It felt like it was building to the punchline of an Aunty Donna sketch.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Hollow Bones
My favourite so far. A deliciously creepy sci-fi that I couldn't wait to recommend to my partner. I want to know more!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Goth GF
This had me laughing and shaking my head at the ending. It's not that it was funny funny, just *sigh*.
⭐⭐⭐⭐

Extinction Event
It feels utterly real and exactly how awful humans would react to the situation.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Nightstalkers
A bit of nothing. No real suspense and the ending was a little eh.
⭐⭐

Shake Well
Creepy and weird. I'll probably be thinking about the ending for a while. It reminds me of the film The Substance, though I haven't seen that film yet.
⭐⭐⭐⭐

The King
Silly good fun. Good enough that I read it twice.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Company Man
Confusingly good and odd.
