Fast paced extremely enjoyable sci-fi novella. Easy to read and will definitely be checking out the rest of the series.

This puts you right into the shit of it and we figure things out as we go along. There’s a lot of tension built up in very few pages, and the personality, or lack there of, of Murderbot allows for some really interesting characterization. We deal with one of my favorite concepts in science fiction, when cyborgs/not-quite-humans are servants or slaves, and what it means to define humanity within these fictitious realms. I’m very interested to see where the rest of the series goes.
