I really — really — enjoyed this book and it would’ve been a 5 star without a doubt if so many questions wasn’t left unanswered. The ending felt way too rushed for my liking and I would’ve enjoyed seeing how everything turned out after the shocking ending. Hopefully we’ll get more explanations in the 4th and 5th book but I felt like it was needed in THIS book, the story didn’t really seem finished and I would’ve liked to get to know America and Maxon more once everything settled.

This book was as quickpaced and fun to read as the previous books, but it did also have another depth and darkness than the previous books. America acted more adult in this one, which I really enjoyed as she is often making very rash decisions.

I was very happy to see that the triangle drama slowly disappeared, it was in my opinion very unnecessary to add to these books. But I’m sure some people enjoyed even that part of the series!

I do look forward to read the rest of the series but I stand by the fact that I think that America should’ve gotten another book or that this one should have been longer.

This was without a doubt a great read and I recommend it!
