Stayed up all night just to reread this haha. I haven’t read this series in about TEN years. Let that sink in and then know that I’ve ALWAYS raved about this book (and series) even though I’d forgotten about a lot of the story line to be quite honest (I mean I’ve read like 1000 books since then).

I cannot believe how funny this book is. I listened to the audiobook so that may have added but I was genuinely laughing at the puns/jokes. I want to talk to little Talia so we can fan girl over Percy together. I don’t read middle school books often but all quest books have a habit of making the MC ridiculously stupid so lets respect our confident 12 year old thrown into the world of mythology and just ROLLING WITH IT LIKE A CHAMP.

Honestly I cannot think of a single complaint about this story and now imma go read book 2 so peace.
