As far as romance goes, this book checked all the boxes. It was cute and funny and entertaining. The characters and their relationships were well developed. Eleanora was a forced to be reckoned with, and I loved seeing her figure out modern day inventions (especially the coffee). What I really enjoyed, though, was Ben’s character and how he subverts all expectations. He’s a big ol’ werewolf, but he’s also the cinnamon-rolliest of cinnamon rolls. He’s sensitive, he’s unafraid of showing his emotions (even if that means crying), he has anxiety, he prefers knitting to partying, and he doesn’t even like being a werewolf, especially because he doesn’t like killing cute forest creatures. As a result, the dynamic between him and Eleanora was pretty much perfect. I do hope for more books set in Glimmer Falls.
