This is absolutely everything I love in a romance novel. Knight in shining armor moments, love at first sight, mysterious identities, kind and intelligent characters...literally everything was perfection.
I loved the Cinderella aspects. They never felt overdone, but it was always in the back of my head that this was clearly more of a nod to a traditional fairy tale. By far my favorite of the Bridgerton series so far!
2nd Reread: Changed 5 star to a 4.5
Weirdly liked this just a little tiny bit less than previously. Still incredible, but found myself more frustrated by Sophie and Benedict than I had in past reads.
