I had a really good time reading. I liked the characters, the world, the magic and the spice. This had a lot of elements from some of my favorite series and I am not mad about it.

Why this a fantastically written novel? No, it definitely could have used more editing. Was it predictable? Some of the time, the twist at the end got me though. Were there plot holes? Probably? But I probably missed them.

Overall, this series has potential, and I will definitely read the next one.
