A String in the Harp by Nancy Bond
5.0
One of my favorite novels, a seamless blend of contemporary and legend.
Recommended for YA readers who can handle a plot that unfolds slowly (but beautifully). Content: death of a parent (referred to), occasional use of "damn," family strife.
It isn't always easy to trust people you love - not because you don't love them enough, but because you don't want them to be wrong and get hurt. But getting hurt is a part of life, and so, thank God, is trust.
