Lucien & Adeline: They May Actually Be My New Favorite Couple! - 5 Stars

Book two picks up right where Book one left off and I was biting my nails at what was going to happen. Adeline and Lucien grown much closer in this, with Lucien finally letting go of some of his OCD issues and Adeline finally trusting in Lucien and his good intentions.

The writing concerning the transformation of this couple is sheer genius and Angela Snyder has gained a new fan in me just based on these two. It could not have been easy to write a character like Lucien given all of his psychological issues. However, she does it with such realness, it doesn't come across as overkill and makes the character's actions very credible.

This book was chocked full of tear-jerking moments, angst, and heartache. But the HEA ending made all of the emotional ups and downs definitely worth it! I cannot say enough wonderful things about this series! I highly recommend it.
