It took me a bit to get into this book. The world is quite a big contrast from mistborn book 1-3. Which isn't a bad thing, it just took me some time to adjust to that.
When I was finally used to it though I enjoyed it quite well. The addition of guns to this universe makes such an interesting twist with all of the metal pushing and pulling. That enhanced all of the fights making them even cooler.
The plot was quite mysterious and I never really knew what was going on until it was revealed at the last moment. This was done wonderfully well.
I also very much loved our new protagonists. Wax was a great character to follow even though I kinda missed Vin and her bunch of misfits. I also really enjoyed Marasi as a character and was happy to see her appearances increase over the course of the book.
In conclusion it's a great book and I'm excited to follow onto the next.
