Aaaaaah, I LOVE SAM. I’m so glad I stumbled on “The Brightest Star in Paris” and realized this book was the precursor! I hadn’t really heard of it, and I’m so glad I read it first. Sam is PERFECTION. We love a flighty, brilliant, distractable hero who focuses when it’s important *nudge nudge wink wink say no more*. The amount of times I laughed out loud at Sam’s responses was too many to count. He is DELIGHTFUL. And of course, we love when the hero falls first. :)
