It was a bit tough to get through the first half, but not bad, the story is a good one and enjoyable to read, just not a page turner like book one was. Its a love story of opposites attract by levelling prejudices, mixed with a good vs evil fight. Its a book best read in the weeks leading up to Beltane, a spring book. It is a cozy and entertaining read and the finale was intense and not foreseeable. Def worth reading book three in the series coming out in January 2023.
