In The Rez Doctor, Ryan Fox dreams of becoming a doctor, but he finds that the system and people around him may try to discourage him. With his family's support though, he works and studies hard to make it to university. Going to school takes him far away from his support system though, and soon he's drawn to the party life to escape the stress, only to fall further behind in school and living expenses. When he meets a young woman that he likes, he is inspired to return to his studies and work hard for the future he's always envisioned for himself. This graphic novel tells the story of the resilience, perseverance, and strength that one needs to follow one's goals and dreams despite what the naysayers may try otherwise.
