I really loved this book, even though at the very beginning I was confused in therms of what I was reading - after a few pages it really eased me into the narative and helped me get the story.
The way the characters were written: they were all so complex -- Especially Heathcliff, whom I feel you either love or hate; or Catherine (the first) whom you learn to hate, and afterwards have a love-hate kind of relationship majorly based on pity; and even Edgar, whom I despised at the beginning of the book, but liked him a lot better after different turns of events, circumstances and even Point Of Views that the very talented author, Emily Brontë, took us through.
Before I read this piece of classic literature I expected it to be a romance novel, based on the portayal my friends and mostly people on the internet gave me- but it was more, and I am sincerely glad that so i was because it gve me a lot more perspective and depth of the brilliance of foreing literature ( english is not my first language).
GREAT BOOK, I RECOMMEND IT WITH ALL MY HEART <3
with kind regards,
