So, there are clearly many reasons this has been at the top of the @nytbooks list for so long. This is the novel we didn't know we needed. Enthralling.
@authordeliaowens - I cannot say enough about her prose. I am such a fan of smart people (she's a zoologist who lived in Zambia for a while - no big.) who give us glimpses into what their eyes see. Absolutely beautiful.
