The Twist of a Knife by Anthony Horowitz

4.0

This is Horowitz's 4th book in the 'Hawthorne investigates' series and possibly my favorite so far. I just absolutely love how Horowitz so smoothly meshes fiction with reality in these books and uses himself as a central character in the story.

In this one, the setting is Horowitz's play 'Mindgame' in the west end where a theater critic is murdered the morning after the Opening Night, after she writes a horrid review and Anthony himself becomes police's prime suspect! What's fascinating is Horowitz actually has written a play by the same name, but no death associated with it in real life, (that i could find online
