“No one knows what happens up at Midnight Manor.
The home of the Voss brothers sits like a sentinel looking down on our small town, remaining a mystery. The four brooding billionaires rarely leave the confines of the iron gates, fueling rumors that have existed for decades.”

Moonlit Thorns is a dark, spicy and gothic Beauty and the Beast retelling. Even though the book is a fairytale retelling, it has it’s own plot and storyline.

The book is told in two pov, Anabelle and Asher. I personally liked to read both of their pov and I think that the dual pov worked really nicely with the plot.

The tension and slow burn between the main characters was so good and well written. Loved their dynamic. Both FMC & MMC were well developed with interesting stories and backgrounds. I really enjoyed learning about both of their pasts.

The supporting characters were also well written and interesting. They brought a lot to the plot and helped with the world building.

The spice was great, well written and well spaced out.

The pacing of the book was mostly great, but the ending seemed a bit rushed. Maybe if the book was a little bit longer there would have been time to breathe a bit instead of rushing through the ending.

Overall a great dark & gothic romance with well developed characters and interesting storyline.

Can’t wait to read the other books in the series!

I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review. Receiving ARC didn’t affect my opinion of the book.
