I really loved this debut.
Supurbly queer with each character managing their grief over the loss of Santiago in their own ways combined with that allure and intrigue of Monstrilio, what he his, what he's destined to be, and what defines a human.
I definitely wanted more from the writing but the character point of views were still extremely well done as well as the secrets they keep.
