This book made me ugly cry. KaCit and Nia were so amazing together and apart. Stubborn Ka’Cit made my heart ache for him over the course of the book and I was so happy that he had Nia who was the epitome and a sweet and gentle soul. She was patient and to use her own word, pretty badass too. It was impossible not to fall in love with the two of them. *happy squeal*

I’m so mad that I never got to see Ka’Cit’s reaction to her news in the epilogue because I just know he would have lost his mind. I wanted to see that. My heart. Hopefully, we get to see more of them in upcoming books in this series.
