A beautiful blend of Russian Folklore and one of my absolute favorite tales, Beauty and the Beast.
I was so blessed to have gotten an ARC of this, because this is just what I needed right now.
Hunted is an amazing tale following Yeva, a protagonist who is intelligent, independent, and desires so much more than the life laid out for her. She is a hunter at heart, like her father, but the Beast may be the one creature she cannot kill, no matter how desperately she wants to.
This story is beautifully written, similar to Beauty and the Beast but puts its own original spin on it. I always found myself fascinated with the Beast's point of view, and Yeva is a protagonist that is imperfect yet very likable and relatable.
This novel is great for anyone who enjoys the original Beauty and the Beast tale, as well as fans of Russian folklore or fantasy books. Hunted will pull you in and never let you go.
