It's painful to think this story is likely to happen, or it has happened to somebody.
I was reminded of the time when I watched way too much true crime shows on ID Xtra and how I've seen this story happen, but to different and real human beings.
On a side note, the book was brilliant. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. Also if you can listen to the audiobook, DO IT.
I wouldn't recommend it to everyone though. If you know you can't handle sensitive topics with a lot of content warnings, just skip this one. You might be doing yourself a favor. I'm used to true crime stories, even heard far more gruesome ones, and yet I have no idea how am I going to sleep tonight.
