Conan Doyle for the Defense: The True Story of a Sensational British Murder, a Quest for Justice, and the World's Most Famous Detective Writer by Margalit Fox

5.0

This was an absolute page turner of a book! A well written, smart, and engaging piece about far reaching corruption, anti-semitism and how Arthur Conan Doyle was so much more than “just” an author. This book is very fact based, without needless added fluff for the sake of dramatics. The facts are plenty dramatic on their own. Now, saying that, I would call this a well written book and enjoyable read. If you’re a history buff and literature nerd, plus you love a good mystery.. you will enjoy this book!
