Critical Race Theory, An Introduction by Richard Delgado
4.0
This was a much needed review of the foundations and basic theories of Critical Race Theory. Most of my reading up to this point had been in little pockets of applied CRT, and I didn’t realize how much I was missing.
This book was published in 2016, before the election of Trump, though. I believe a 2022 edition would be radically different - especially in the final chapter, which sought to predict a very optimistic view of CRT’s future. My next step is looking up what Richard Delgado and Jean Stefancic have written on the topic between 2016 and now!
