Morbidly Yours by Ivy Fairbanks
5.0
She’s a Texan animator, quite literally in technicolor. He’s a mortician, all black and white. And yet they go together like mice and cheese.
When Lark moves to Galway for a fresh start, she’s not too happy to learn she’s living right next to a funeral home. Salt on the wound, still grieving her husband she lost two years ago. Callum would rather avoid dating, but if he doesn’t find someone to settle down with by his birthday, his family’s funeral home is forfeit. Deciding to help her new neighbor find The One, Lark discovers herself growing closer and closer with him, healing her grieving heart, while Callum finds that she brings joy to his existence.
There’s no denying they have a connection, unless of course you’re our main characters in question.
This was such a fun read! My least favorite part, as always, is the spice scenes, which there are unfortunately quite a few of. However, I adored these characters and the setting! I can’t wait to see what else Galway has in store for us in this series!
