Fantastic ending to the book, but it really doesn't excuse how boring and uneventful the rest of the book was. It was pretty mediocre, and I found myself having difficulty picking the book up and I did a lot of skimming. More than I've had to do in the previous 2 slog books.
So, some good moments, particularly the ending. But again, a rough read. But I'm still pushing through the series. I know Sanderson's style will work significantly better for me than Jordan's.
Also, the Rand romance with 3 different women is really freaking weird. I hate it. Jordan is so bad with romance.
