This is the second book of the Invisible Omega duet, which is part of the Collapse of the Premium Designation series. There are spicy scenes, as well as numerous very dark elements to this story so please read the trigger warnings.
Tropes and themes include:
✨Power & control
✨Omegaverse
✨Why choose (MMFMM)
✨Healing
✨Slowburn
✨Heats/knots
✨Hurt/comfort

Rating: 3.5/5 Stars 2/5 Flames
Nickname: Star, Baby, Sweetheart
The Lovely: I again loved the plot of this book, as dark and horrible as it was (what was being done to the students). I also liked how a good chunk of the book was devoted to seeing what happened to the pack post-Academy
The Mundane: To me the writing style still felt a bit young or immature given the ages of the characters (early 20s and up) and the dark themes. This also felt slow paced, which was odd given the plot tension.
Recommendation: Overall, I loved the plot of the duet and grew to like the characters within the pack. The FMC’s mates are all quite different and each bring their own qualities to the relationship. I’d love to find out more about what happens to the other omegas so I am planning to start the next duet, which I understand focuses on another omega post academy.
