Couldn’t put this book down, fell in love with Grace and Logan. Second book in the Off-Campus series, and my love for this series continues to grow.
I loved Logan’s character development from being a total player getting with random girls, to doing absolutely everything in his power to show Grace his seriousness about making up for his mistake, as well as showing his intentions of wanting to be with her. I’m a total sucker for love, I’m a hopeless romantic so, you can imagine that I like to imagine all different kind of romantic scenarios and grand gestures. John Logan took on the role of making romantic gestures for Grace, and it’s one of the things I fell in love about him.
Grace in the beginning struck me as sweet and reserved, and then towards the middle after starting her sophomore year, she really started to come into her personality, and become even stronger ( Girl Power!). The chemistry between Grace and Logan was amazing! I loved their insiders like, “Question”, or how Logan’s reaction to Grace calling him “Johnny”, or “John” makes him melt.
I would say that in this story it definitely focused more on Logan’s struggles and him constantly being faced with his father’s alcohol abuse. By the end of this story, I was happy with the conclusion, and the epilogue made my heart so full of happiness, and made me a tiny bit teary ( tears of joy). All throughout the story, Logan was afraid of his future, and feeling like he would be faced with a future he doesn’t necessarily want, but thankfully everything came together as it was meant to be.
I just love this series so much because, it’s an easy going type of story, with characters you’ll fall in love with, and it’s has a good balance of light humor, while also tackling some heavy topics. Once again, I’M IN LOVE!
