Literally every beat of this story was predictable except for the very last page. I'll give her that much at least.

The Chosen One is forced to go to Murder! Hogwarts! by her evil mother. Despite telling us every 2 pages that she is sooooo weak we see literally no evidence of this weakness except that she gets a lot of bruises when people hit her or when she falls, which seems like normal behavior for a body.

Also, she falls head over heels for Draco Malfoy Brayden Xaden whateverhisname is, a Certified Bad Boy who does things like:
-Sulk evilly
-Wear lots of black
-Peel an apple with a dagger(!!)

But Brayden isn't evil, just misunderstood! Also there are dragons!

In other words this book is absolute trash so far, and I am loving it. Somehow having much more fun with this than the Martha Wells that I am reading at the same time which is objectively a much better book.
