The Sweetest Revenge by Lizzy Dent

This was GOOD though I don't think I was necessarily satisfied. It's such a fun friends to lovers romance where Amy and Jake TRULY do become friends before they're lovers, and you get to see them learn to trust and love each other as friends and later as a couple, so points for that!

Where I felt a bit unsatisfied was the pacing, I guess. It felt a bit too hung up on the revenge plot, and maybe that's a good reflection of how long it takes Amy to get out of it. But as a reader, I felt myself annoyed with her and that's where I think it starts to fall apart a bit. ALSO threw me for a whirlwind to have a Chris/Amy/Jake love triangle ACTUALLY confuse me for a min, even though I should've trusted my instincts and known to never trust a man hell bent on having control (and his name is Chris so negative points, sorry to all other Chris' out there lmao).

ANYWAY - it was good. Not my fave, but good. And if you listen to this on audio like I did, be prepared for a very strange accent for Jake - was NOT a fan.
