As a rule of thumb I do not actually rate memoirs as they are an extension of someone’s life and therefore I am appreciative for their vulnerability.
General thoughts, I solely picked this up because I love Kerry Washington, as an actress and as a person. I went into this hoping to learn more about her and her steps to stardom. I had no idea about her dad going into this and some of her other passions, so that was interesting to learn. I just love her poise and grace, all around, she will forever be the one and only Olivia Pope!
Was this my favorite memoir I’ve read, no, but it was nice to see her journey that got here to today!
