A cute, quick read. I did read the prequel first and honestly don’t really think it added all that much to this story.

It was cozy when things could have been much harder and the resolutions seemed quite… simple?

The tension was all built on the fact that the main character wasn’t communicating with anyone and two short conversations would have ended all of the conflict in the book.

All that being said, I did like the world and the gender role flipping. It’s an interesting idea. But just needs a bit more fleshing out.
