I can't rate this as a Pride and Prejudice retelling because I'm not really familiar with Pride and Prejudice. Apparently it doesn't take too many creative liberties with the plot. Either way this book was very middle-of-the-road, slightly cringey, and, oh my goodness, the smut was soooo clinical and awkward, like literally some of the worst I have ever heard. Anyway. I think the writing besides that was decent. I didn't hate it. The burlesque setting was fun.
