This series is continuing to blow my mind and I'm only two books in. Talon's perspective is so heartbreaking, but also intriguing. I want to rage for him, but also protect him. He's such a multi-faceted, complex character and I think Hardt executed the balance of hard and soft so well. I also loved how much more sure of herself Jade was in this installment. The mystery was growing and I truly cannot wait for everything to be revealed. The cliffhanger in this one was also a huge reveal and this is the type of book that made me want to scream out loud while reading it. I'm so hooked and invested and I truly want Jade and Talon to have their happy ending. The spice is dark but sooo good and these books have fully got me.
