This book is so good. This is the type of romance that just speaks to me. The boys are both high up in the society in military and there is so much going on in the politics! Also arranged marriage! One has had eyes for the other his whole life the other has had other things going on. 

Fu Shen has been crippled recently and is working on recovery and Yan is so gentle and amazing for his recovery help. There relationship is slow but GORGEOUS. Also they have a bickering, kinda bratty dynamic which is so funny with how tough and intense they both are with work. 

This book is perfect. Complicated plot but perfect. - they do not sleep together in the first book-
