Words of Radiance by Brandon Sanderson

*4.5/5
Whoofta, what a ride. So this got docked half a star for a couple of reasons. Pacing is always off, the story almost drags through the middle sections and I often feel that the overall length of the story could be shortened. Also, this book focuses on Shallan's past and honestly, she just isn't my favorite character. I don't hate her or anything, but there is something there that I can't put my finger on that irritates me about her a bit. Otherwise, fantastic read. I love how the magic system is growing more complex, there are even bigger questions to find answers for, and just so much action! Sanderson nailed the ending, as always.
