This was a short read. Set in 1952. On the beach of Chesapeake Bay. Two middle aged ladies and two young kids around 7. They go to the beach and make a sand castle together and discuss the past and current times. Good family time. The ladies are hilarious. The two kids are cousins and bicker like siblings. Great book. Definitely reading more in this series.
