Summer Romance Box Set: Weightless, Revelry, and On the Way to You by Kandi Steiner

5.0

Weightless:
5 stars
This book hit me in the feels so darn hard! I absolutely loved the message that Kandi Steiner was trying to get across with Natalie and her body image issues. I fell madly in love with Rhodes and his unsuspecting charm and dedication. The pair were electric and left me feeling dizzy and smiling!

The dramatic twists and suspense left me feeling anxious and worried. I loved it and hated it. I couldn't put this book down and never wanted it to end, all at the same time. This is one of those books that changes you. It takes a piece of you when you set it back on the shelf. I'll forever be changed after reading this novel. It spoke to me on such a personal level and I'm so thankful to Kandi for writing such a profound character like Natalie and speaking the truth about women and their bodies, especially women who are not picture perfect and have more to grab onto.

Revelry:
4 stars
Loved the setting of this story and now it played so well into the characters’ interactions and differing lifestyles.

I adored the heroine and her ability to find her happiness within herself and share her light with those who truly wanted to see it. She brought a little piece of the city to the woods and changed those she interacted with for the better!

I thought the author did an incredible job creating two completely hollow people, for vastly different reasons but kept them so honest and genuine. I will say the ending didn’t wow me and I’d wished there was just a little more to grasp onto to leave me feeling satisfied.

A truly sweet story! It was emotional, heartwarming, sexy, funny and broken. A perfect mash up of characteristics for a fantastic romance read!

On the Way to You:
4 stars
Another incredible story by Kandi Steiner! This book was full of emotion, heartache, suffering, self loathing and hope. The content for both main characters was a little darker than usual for this author but I felt it really added to the emotional depth of the story. Both Cooper and Emery were broken and suffering but in very different ways. The entire read was spent peeling away the layers one by one until they were fully exposed to one another and at a major crossroads in their relationship.

The end of this book was heart breaking, soul crushing and tear jerking. Despite this, the author found a way to heal my wounds and bring me the HEA I so desperately needed from this couple. The dog was a damn good addition to the story too! I felt Kalo helped bring back some innocence and happiness to the read!
