As Long as We Both Shall Live by JoAnn Chaney
4.0
I was so excited for JoAnn Chaney's latest mystery and it was as engrossing as 'What You Don't Know'--(and Detective Loren's back in this one, too). Without giving away too much of the plot, longtime married couple Matt and Marie's wilderness getaway to rekindle their marriage takes a shocking turn when Marie appears to have fallen to her death. While investigating her disappearance, Detective Loren and his partner discover Matt's previous wife also died with suspicious circumstances. We have alternating timelines, witty chapter titles, and a flashback to some of Loren's own history.
I was happy to spend my holiday weekend reading this book.
