This was a really quick and easy novella. I liked the author’s style of writing in ‘Daisy jones and the six’ and ‘Seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo’ and this had exactly the same appeal.
As someone who’s been cheated on before, I was very empathetic to the victims. Although this is fiction, it brings home, the audacity of people who betray their partners in such deceitful, manipulative and selfish ways. It certainly gives some insight in to their motivations.
Of course, this is quite a predictable read, there is a final twist at the end, I didn’t predict though.
6/10
