Big Lies in a Small Town by Diane Chamberlain

5.0

The first book to get my “favorite” rating this year! You know how normally in a multi-perspective book how you like one character better than another, even if it’s just slightly? This is perhaps the first book I have ever read where I loved both perspectives equally. I was always happy to jump timelines in this book. Perhaps because the plot of the timelines complimented each other so well to reveal the layers of this story. This story highlights friendship, the harsh realities of prejudice, and how putting your trust in people should be done with great care. There are some triggers in this book but I will not put them here because there are spoilers. Message me if interested.
